Corporate History

1960 March Nagoya IEC Co, Ltd is established at Shinsakae Machi, Naka-ku, Nagoya City with capital of 1 million yen as a result of discussion with Graco K. K.
1963 July Japan Gray Co., Ltd was established by the capital participation of U.S. Graco Co. as a joint venture. The technological assistance agreement and the general distributor agreement in Chubu area were concluded again.
1964 August Head office is relocated to Oike-cho, Naka-ku, Nagoya City.
1967 March Toyota Office is opened.
1968 December Hamamatsu Office is opened.
1969 March Head office is relocated to Higashi Kataha Machi, Higashi-ku, Nagoya City.
1971 February Suzuka Office is opened.
September Junji Aoki is appointed as president. Eiichi Aoki, the first president passed away.
1973 March Osaka Office is opened.
June Chubu area exclusive agent agreement is renewed with Japan Ransburg Industrial Finishing K. K.
1976 September Hokuriku Office is opened.
1977 June Chiyoda Sangyo Co., Ltd., 100% owned by IEC, is established.
1978 November Acknowledged as an excellent company by Tax Office.
1979 April New head office building in Hongo, Meito-ku, Nagoya City is completed. 20th anniversary events are held.
1983 November Tomei Warehouse is constructed at Yashirogaoka, Meito-ku, Nagoya City.
1986 October Toyota office is relocated to Tsutsumi-cho, Toyota City.
Laboratory is opened at the same location.
1989 March Kanazawa Office is relocated to a new building in Shinbohon, Kanazawa City.
October 30th anniversary booklet is published.
1990 December Capital increased to 80 million yen.
Third-party allotment: Tokai Bank and Chukyo Bank.
1993 February Kyushu Office is opened in a new building in Yahata Nishi-ku, Kitakyushu City.
1999 March Company name changed to IEC Co., Ltd.
April Yokohama Office is opened.
2001 August Yokohama Office is relocated to Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama City.
2003 July Laboratory is opened at Sekobo, Meito-ku, Nagoya City.
October Obtained ISO9001 (Head Office and Toyota Office)
Warehouse is built at Hongo, Meito-ku, Nagoya City.
2004 March Gunma Substation is opened.
Mizushima Substation is opened.
July Osaka Office is relocated to Nishi-ku, Osaka City.
2007 May Hideto Aoki is appointed as president.
Junji Aoki is appointed as chairman.
2009 March Hamamatsu Office is relocated to a new building in Higashi-ku, Hamamatsu City.
October Obtained ISO14001 (Head Office and Toyota Office)
2010 April Nagoya Office is opened.
May Mizushima Substation is relocated and opened as Hiroshima Office.
December IEC acquired FUJI SHOKAI Co., Ltd. as 100% wholly owned subsidiary.
2011 February IEC North America is opened.
May Thai IEC Co., Ltd. is opened.
2012 March IEC Finishing México,S.A. de C.V. is opened.
April IEC DO BRASIL LTDA. is opened.
June PT.IEC INDONESIA is opened.
July Kitakanto Office is opened.
2013 January IEC Engineering(Thailand)Co., Ltd. is opened.
2014 April Iwate Office is opened.
2015 March Yokohama Office is relocated to a new building in Tsuzuki,Yokohama City. Kyushu office re-named to Kita Kyusyu Office.
May IEC Philippines Inc. is opened.
2017 January IEC FINISHING MALAYSIA SDN.BHD. is opened.
October IEC (India) Private Limited is opened.
2018 January IEC FINISHING MALAYSIA SDN.BHD. is relocated.
March Kita Kyusyu Office is relocated to a new building in Yahata, Kita Kyusyu City.
IEC Fabrication is opened.
2019 March Suzuka office re-named to Mie Office.
July IEC (India) Private Limited is relocated.
December IEC Finishing México,S.A. de C.V. is relocated.
2020 January IEC acquired KIKI International, Inc.
November IEC Laboratory is opened in Moriyama-ku, Nagoya City.
2021 April KIKI International, Inc. (Business name changed from Tiara to REMEDY SPA HI.)
August KIKI International, Inc. (d.b.a. REMEDY SPA HI is opend.)
September egao cafe is opend in Moriyama-ku, Nagoya City.
2022 July Tochigi (Kitakanto) office was opened at Utsunomiya, Tochigi
November Tochigi (Kitakanto) office has been changed to “Utsunomiya office”
2023 September B You Co., Ltd. was established as an IEC group. It started running organic brand “bamford” as a general agent in Japan on September 1.
